Smartphones running Android 8.0 (Oreo) or over are affected by a bug, monitored as CVE-2019-2114, which enables hackers to plant malware onto nearby apparatus via NFC shining subtly. However, Google published a patch to address this exposure. For those unaware, NFC (Near Field Communication) beaming functions through an inner Android OS support called Android Beam.
