These images are of The Messages Project's founder, and one of the 10 CNN Heroes of 2008, Carolyn LeCroy and her grandson Liam in the St. Bernard neighborhood of New Orleans. They assisted CNN Hero of the Year winner Liz McCarthy with her St. Bernard Project, rebuilding homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Liam is now the youngest volunteer to do some work for the project.
