A lot has happened since recognition in 2008 by CNN and Johnson & Johnson of The Messages Project as an organization that contributes to social problem solving through direct action. This is the first of what will be regular updates directed at supporters and partners in our effort to develop more effective bonds between children and incarcerated parents. These awards highlight the efforts of those who seek to enhance the lives of others in their communities. The awards are presented to groups, individuals and families whose efforts exemplify extraordinary volunteer service.
